Siphiwe Tshabalala has just become the arguably the greatest free agent the PSL has ever seen, so who will sign up the Amakhosi legend?
The man who scored the famous opener of the 2010 FIFA World Cup and brought hundreds of memories to every Chiefs fan between 2007 and 2018 has just issued a HUGE update on his career.
At 37, speculation around his retirement has grown. He has been club-less for over three months – a factor that is destined to change soon.
Rumours have been rife around his retirement after he left Benni McCarthy’s AmaZulu earlier this year. However, he is not done just yet…
According to iDiskiTimes, Tshabalala issued this response at the Walter Sisulu Soccer Challenge launch on Thursday:
“I’m Siphiwe Tshabalala, I’m a current professional soccer player,” stated Amakhosi’s legend.
Tshabalala hinted at a possible move to another club.
“They will know soon,” stated Tshabalala.
He is still available to play, meaning he is possibly the hottest free agent in the PSL.
Tshabalala is not just an Amakhosi great but a Bafana Bafana legend too having played 91 times for his country.
He is now available to grabbed up by any DStv Premiership side. Where would you like to see him finish off his illustrious career?
