Jumwa unveils Nzai as her running mate for Kilifi Gubernatorial seat

Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa has unveiled Emmanuel Nzai as his running mate for the Kilifi Gubernatorial seat in August 9th election.

Jumwa says Nzai, the former CEO of Jumuiya ya Kaunti Za Pwani has the ability and drive to help her achieve her development agenda for the people of Kilifi.

Jumwa also unveiled her dream team of UDA aspirants who will be contesting for various positions in Kilifi County.

She exuded confidence that UDA will win all parliamentary seats in the seven constituencies, as well as the 35 MCA seats.

The candidates include Daniel Chiriba the outgoing Jilore Ward MCA who will contest in the Malindi parliamentary race and former Ganze MP Peter Shehe who is vying for the Jaribuni Ward MCA seat.

Others are Kilifi Deputy Speaker and Adu Ward MCA Stanley Kenga who is vying for Magarini parliamentary seat, Shukran Mwambonje the senatorial candidate and Juliet Riziki alias Kachachawa who is eying for the Woman rep position.

Jumwa said her administration will spearhead economic growth to ensure every citizen of Kilifi affords a meal three times a day.

The Governor hopeful also said the government would address land issues and waive all building plans fees for churches, mosques, and other religious buildings.

Nzai said they will conduct peaceful campaigns even as he called on the religious leaders to pray for the team as it seeks to succeed Governor Kingi.
