‘It’s a lifestyle’: Cassper, Pearl officially welcome December!
It’s officially December – or in Mzansi Dezemba – the month where the whole country enjoys the festivities after a long, challenging year. And, of course, that means whipping out the memes, like Cassper Nyovest and Pearl Thusi’s infamous videos.

On the X app, the hashtags “Ke Dezemba Boss” and “1st of December” quickly became trending topics.
South Africans also dug out classic memes from rapper Cassper Nyovest and actress Pearl Thusi celebrating the start of “party season.”
In the nostalgic clip, the rapper is seen waking up and shouting, “Ke Dezemba!” This year, Cass, who is married to Pulane Mojaki, puts a spin on it, and he is seen leaving his wife’s “nagging” to scream outside: “Ke Dezemba!”
Meanwhile, Pearl Thusi’s video was also seen doing the rounds on social media.
The actress and DJ’s viral video shows her and her daughter Thando screaming, “Hello December,” the lyrics to TKZee’s famous anthem, Dlala Mapantsula.
The mother and daughter dance on the beach – Cape Town’s Camps Bay – to the catchy tune.
