About 24 hours before the match, the 28-year-old Angolan posted a picture of himself seemingly introducing the two youngsters to his fitness tech inside a Johannesburg hotel room.
“Taking care of my super kids, Miguel said via social media. “Future will be bright with the mindset on the right place.”
BACK FROM SUSPENSION
Amakhosi travelled to Polokwane midweek to face Magesi FC. Coach Nasreddine Nabi was forced to replace his captain.
As confirmed by the Premier Soccer League via email to TheSouthAfrican on Monday, the 28-year-old Angolan central defender Inacio Miguel was suspended when Kaizer Chiefs faced Magesi at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday.
Miguel, who is one of coach Nasreddine Nabi’s captains, received his fourth yellow during last weekend’s 1-0 loss to SuperSport United.
Kaizer Chiefs coach Nabi decided to start Given Msimango as the replacement in central defence. The result was a 2-2 draw.
Moving ahead to the weekend, Amakhosi are facing a massive game this weekend. The mighty Mamelodi Sundowns will be at the FNB Stadium for the Carling Knockout quarter-finals. Kick-off will be at 18:00.
The good news is Miguel will be available for selection.
