IGP Ochola Orders Territorial Commanders to Disperse all Illegal Presidential Campaigns
The Inspector General of Police Okoth Martin Ochola has ordered all Regional and Territorial police commanders to take action against all illegal assemblies and rallies organized by political candidates especially the presidential candidates across the country.
This was disclosed by Police spokesperson Fred Enanga during a security briefing held in Kampala on Monday.
According to Police, they have discovered that some presidential candidates are diverting from the planned venues and coming up with different arrangements which were not agreed upon with the Electoral Commission.
