I hope Jerry Afriyie signs for a top club in Europe – Desmond Ofei

Ghana U20 head coach Desmond Ofei is hopeful that his star striker, Jerry Afriyie, will secure a move to a top European club following his standout performances at the 2024 WAFU B U20 Championship.Afriyie picked up both the Best Player of the Tournament and Top Scorer awards in the just-concluded competition in Togo.The Thoughts FC forward was instrumental in Ghanas run to the final, where they finished as runners-up, and secured qualification for the 2025 U20 Africa Cup of Nations.The youngster scored five goals in as many games, including a consolation goal in the final against Nigeria.
