Inno Morolong and Gigi Lamayne have officially squashed their beef after meeting in person to hash it out.

The duo filmed their unexpected sit-down for social media, where Inno was seen and heard apologising for dragging the female rapper on her Instagram account this week.

This, after Gigi threatened to sue the influencer and socialite for R1 million over charges of defamation.

Inno Morolong trended on social media this week after she accused Gigi Lamayne of trying to “go after” her boyfriend Femi Large. She also accused the star of being “dirty” and a “sangoma”.

But the social media star has since had a change of heart and is trying to make amends for her actions.

Appearing alongside Gigi, she said in the video: “I feel like as a woman, I went below the belt. Everyone has problems. I have a history of being crazy…It was too much. Fighting is draining.

“No woman is perfect. What we are doing is a step forward. We’re not saying we’re going to be best friends.

Inno even expressed her willingness to seek professional help.

“I’m willing to go for anger management classes. I’ve been sober for a month, it’s no longer a secret”.

Inno then officially apologised on camera. “Gigi I am so sorry. I am admitting I used to be a mean girl. But I am changing along the way”.

Gigi Lamayne also addressed viewers in the video clip, appealing to fans not to “cancel” Inno Morolong for her actions.

She said: “I’ve heard alot of things that have happened about cancel culture, but at the end of the day I am a young black woman, and I’m not in the position to put anyone down.

“We all make mistakes. We all get upset and react in certain ways and Id like to think that if anybody else was in the same position, you would want everybody else to understand.

“We’ve gotten to a point where we understand that we’re young black women in two different lanes.

Apology accepted .

Gigi then turned her attention to the rumours surrounding Inno’s boyfriend Femi Large. She added: “On the record I am not dating Femi Large. I have never been to his place. I am not the girl they are talking about. This is like my brother”.

In addition to publicly dragging Gigi Lamayne this week, Inno Morolong also took aim at one of her close friends; Tebogo Thobejane

Inno appeared in the first episode of Tebogo’s YouTube series called City Girls. In it she discussed being bodyshamed by fans, and as a result having a number of plastic surgery enhancements including liposuction, breast implants and Botox.

But Inno was unhappy that the episode was posted “without”her consent and took to a joint Instagram Live with Tebogo to deliver a spicy tongue-lashing.

Inno Morolong says she was not paid for the podcast and demands Tebogo takes it down.

In the clip with Gigi, Inno Morlong apologised for insulting Tebogo, whom she accused of having a “botched surgery”.

She said: “That’s my best friend. I’m very blessed to have people that are patient with me

“I wanted the privacy of my surgery. Even though I insult other women, it comes back to that I was not happy with myself and my body. Maybe I was taking out my anger.”
