Hearts of Oak NCC chairman Elvis Hermann calls emergency meeting amid poor start to 2024/25 Ghana Premier League
Hearts of Oak National Chapters Committee (NCC) Chairman, Elvis Hermann, has confirmed convening an emergency meeting in response to the clubs disappointing start to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.The meeting, scheduled for 5:00 PM today, will bring together key supporters’ groups to discuss the team’s performance and explore solutions.”We have not secured a win in our first two matches, both home and away, which is worrying,” Hermann told Peace FM as monitored by Ghanasoccernet.com “We dont want a repeat of the past two seasons where we were fighting relegation, which brought shame to the club.”The agenda includes strategies to prevent another relegation battle and ways to support the management, technical team, and players.Accra Hearts of Oak have suffered back-to-back defeats, losing 1-0 to league newcomers Basake Holy Stars and 2-0 to Heart of Lions. The NCC Chairman emphasized that the meeting will include representatives from all regional chapters, including the Old Accra Hearts of Oak Supporters Association (HOPA).”We will meet this evening and take decisions as a supporters’ body,” Hermann confirmed.
