Hearts of OakHearts of Oak are resolute in their determination to avoid another relegation battle in the upcoming 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.This comes after narrowly escaping relegation in the previous season, where they finished 14th, just a point above the drop zone.The club’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Kwame Opare Addo, emphasised that the head coach, players, and all stakeholders have been clearly tasked with ensuring that the team does not find itself in such a precarious situation again.Hearts of Oak secured their place in the top flight on the final day of the 2023/24 season with a dramatic 3-2 comeback victory against Bechem United. Reflecting on the close call, Opare Addo stressed the importance of a stronger campaign this season.The issue is that we all understand that as a bigger club like Accra Hearts of Oak, you dont even need to be told, Opare Addo said during an interview on Agoro Fie on Onua TV. You have to know that whatever there is to fight for, you need to fight for it.”He further stated, From the position we are coming from last season, it is very clear that the first step is that we do not have to go into that same situation again because last two years, it happened, last year it happened.
