“12 years with you, and I love you more than ever. ,” she wrote.

Handre and Marise met through Facebook back in 2012. At the time, Marise was a student at The University of Pretoria (UP) and Handre was climbing the rugby ranks and playing for the bulls, according to Woman And Home Magazine. The pair then tied the knot a few years later at Cavalli Estate in the Cape Winelands in 2017.

Fast forward about six years, Handre and Marise welcomed their first child together, a bouncing baby boy named Hunter Andre Pollard on 25 April.

“Hunter André Pollard . Our biggest blessing & Greatest love. 25 April 2024 | 3.6kg | 52cm,” read the caption of the post.

THE POLLARDS RETURN TO SOUTH AFRICA

Handre and Marise recently returned to South Africa from the UK. This was the first time little Hunter got to meet his South African family. Marise penned a sentimental post to her son Hunter after sharing her home with him. Take a look…

“Flower valley . So grateful to finally be able to share this place with you my dearest Hunter. It’s home, and now your home too. Where we played under the same trees and ran on the same dirt roads. Here nature is your school, better than any dream. My words are few, but my heart overflows. Thank you Jesus,” she wrote.

Marise also recently opened up about losing post-partum weight during a Q&A session on Instagram. She explained that she gets asked about losing her baby weight often, but not always in a positive light. However, she expressed that it is important to focus on your mental health.

“This is a question I have received on a daily basis and not always in a positive light. First PP (post partum) is damn hard, it’s hard for everyone and it’s so important to be kind to yourself and focus on your own mental health. I have not done anything. I couldn’t train during my pregnancy which was really tough for me, and I haven’t really trained since,” she wrote.
