Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Gyasi scores again for Empoli in Serie A

(Photo by Timothy Rogers/Getty Images)Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Gyasi scored his second goal in consecutive games as Empoli drew 1-1 with Bologna at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara on Saturday.Bologna took an early lead with Giovanni Fabbian scoring in the 2nd minute.However, Gyasi equalised for Empoli, having also scored the previous week against AS Roma.He played the entire 90 minutes, helping to extend Empoli’s unbeaten run to 10 matches.Despite their strong form, Empoli’s defence continues to be a concern, having conceded in 10 consecutive away games.Bologna, ending a four-game losing streak, also faces defensive issues.Empoli will aim to maintain their positive momentum when they face Juventus on September 15.
