Ghanaian attacker Kelvin Ofori strikes twice in Spartak Trnava big win
Ghanaian attacker Kelvin Ofori got his first goals of the new season in the Slovakian Nike Liga when FC Spartak Trnava mauled FK Zeleziarne Podbrezova on Saturday.The 23-year-old bagged a brace to inspire Trnava’s 4-0 emphatic victory at the Zelpo Arena in Podbrezova in the round 10 fixture.Ofori scored the opening goal of the match to put the visitors ahead on the brink of half-time after converting a beautiful pass from Czechia midfielder Erik Daniel.The Ghanaian scored again to double the advantage for Trnava ten minutes into the second half with an assist from Milos Kratochvil.Daniel got his name on the scoresheet after 66 minutes as he increased the advantage for the guests.Robert Pich, who replaced Ofori in the 71st minute, rounded off the victory for Trnava with a goal in stoppage-time.Ofori has been having a decent shift since the beginning of the 2024-25 season. He has three goals in six appearances across all competitions so far.
