Ghanaâs Daniel Laryea to officiate Tunisia vs Gambia AFCON Qualifier in Radès
Ghanas top referee, Daniel Nii Ayi Laryea, has been appointed as the centre referee for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between Tunisia and The Gambia on Monday, November 18, 2024.The match is set for 20:00 at Stade Olympique de Rads.Laryea will lead a team of experienced Ghanaian officials, with Kwasi Acheampong Brobbey as Assistant Referee I and Roland Nii Dodoo Addy as Assistant Referee II, while Charles Benle Bulu will serve as the Fourth Official.The match will see additional oversight from Joel Amarante Ramos Barros of Cape Verde as Match Commissioner, Latr-Kayi Edzona Lawson-Hogban from Togo as Referee Assessor, Imad Eddine Mahamdioua from Algeria as Security Officer, and Tunisias Ahmed Khemiri as Broadcast Venue Manager.Laryea, recognized for his expertise, has officiated in numerous top-level tournaments, including the 2020 African Nations Championship, the 2021 and 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, and has also served as a Video Assistant Referee in high-profile games, such as Raja vs Al Ahly in the CAF Champions League and the 2023 AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire.
