Ghana Premier League: Aduana Stars forward Emmanuel Marfo scoops September Player of the Month prize

Aduana Stars forward Emmanuel Marfo has been named Player of the Month for September following his outstanding performances in September.The talented attacker becomes the second Aduana Stars player after Isaac Mintah to annex the Player of the Month prize since October 2023.Marfo was in blistering form last month, scoring three goals from four games for the two-time Ghana Premier League champions.The 23-year-old beats off competition from Bechem Uniteds Isaiah Nyarko and Medeamas Kamaradini Mamudu to win the top award.Marfo scored a stoppage time equalizer against Heart of Lions, followed by a brace against Young Apostles at the Wenchi Stadium in matchday 4.The forward, who has four goals after six matches into the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign is leaving no stone unturned in his bid to annex the goal king prize at the end of the season.Its all about hard work and determination. I just have to stay focus and do what is expected of me as a striker. I strongly believe I will win the goal king at the end of the Ghana Premier League season he said.
