Ghana midfielder Samuel Owusu awaits COVID-19 results after arriving in Saudi Arabia from int’l break

Samuel OwusuGhana midfielder Samuel Owusu has begun his mandatory quarantine after arriving in Saudi Arabia from international duty with the Black Stars, GHANAsoccernet.com can report.The 24-year old was invited for Ghana’s doubleheader against Sudan in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers during the international break.He featured in both legs at the Cape Coast Stadium which the Black Stars won 2-0 and the reverse fixture in Omdurman.The Al-Ahly’s star arrived on Friday and has been subjected to a coronavirus test per the protocols.According to Saudi Arabia health protocols, Samuel Owusu will isolate until his coronavirus tests results are out before he can join his teammates. Should he be cleared safe, Owusu will participate in the team’s group exercises.Al-Ahly are preparing ahead of their league fixture against Al-Shabab on Monday.Samuel Owusu joined the Saudi giants on a season-long loan from Al-Fayha in the summer.The former Cukariki star has made two appearances and scored one goal in the ongoing campaign.
