Ghana defender Fatawu Hamidu models in Ghazl El Mahalla’s new jersey ahead of 2024/25 season
Black Stars left-back Abdul Fatawu Hamidu is set for the new season in the Egyptian Premier League after modelling in Ghazl El Mahalla’s jerseys for the 2024/25 campaign.The former Medeama SC player joined his other teammates as the returnees unveiled their home, away and third kits.Hamidu, one of the high-profile players to join the club in the transfer window, enjoyed a good pre-season with El Mahalla and looks poised for his first campaign in the North African nation.The ex-Accra Lions player moved to Ghazl El Mahalla from Medeama SC after starring for the Mauve and Yellows in their outstanding run in the CAF Champions League last season. He also made 19 appearances in the league, scoring a goal and delivering four assists for the Tarkwa-based club.He was also a member of the team that won the Ghana Premier League in the 2022/23 season, Medeama’s first-ever league triumph.His experience will prove valuable for Ghazl El Mahalla as they look forward to a successful campaign.
