GFA Congress approves new Appeals Committee members for four-year term
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) Congress, during its 30th Ordinary Session on August 27, 2024, unanimously approved the appointment of ten members to the Appeals Committee for a four-year term.Lawyer David Asumda has been appointed as Chairperson, with new member Lawyer Godwin Mensah Sackey serving as Vice Chairperson.Six members from the previous committee were retained, including Lawyer Eva Okyere, Dr. Bella Bello Bitugu, Abdul Azziz Musah, Lawyer Emmanuel Kwesi Opare-Wiredu, and Frank Okyere Addo.The committee also welcomes new members Lawyer Emmanuel Augustus Amissah, Lawyer Mark Achel, and Lawyer Winfred Sola Aklamati.This committee, constituted under Article 58 of the GFA Statutes, will serve until August 26, 2028.
