GFA appoints Ethics Committee members for four-year term
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) Congress has appointed five members to the Ethics Committee for a new four-year term, effective August 27, 2024.The committee will be chaired by Dr. Isaac Annan, Esq., with Linda Ofori-Kwafo, Esq. serving as Vice-Chairperson.The remaining members include Dr. Charles Takyi, Wilfred Neneh Addico, and Ayishatu Farida Iddriss.This appointment was unanimously endorsed by the GFA Congress, by Article 57 of the GFA Statutes, which outlines the structure and composition of the Ethics Committee.The Statutes stipulate that the committee must consist of five members, including individuals with expertise in criminal law and investigative work.The Executive Council, following the guidelines under Articles 32(2)(r), 55(5), and 57(1) of the Statutes, proposed the committee members for Congresss approval.The Ethics Committee’s new mandate will conclude on August 26, 2028.
