GFA and National Ambulance Service host First Aid Training at Ghanaman Soccer Centre

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) partnered with the Ghana National Ambulance Service (GNAS) to conduct a First Aid and Safety Precautions training for staff at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram on Wednesday.Under the theme “Timely Care, Saves Lives,” the one-day training aimed to equip GFA staff with essential first aid skills to handle emergencies, from minor injuries to critical medical situations. Participants were trained to quickly activate the National Ambulance Service and deliver immediate care until professional help arrives.The Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, established in 2004 as part of the FIFA Goal Project, serves as the GFAs Technical Centre. Located in the Ningo/Prampram District of Greater Accra, it is home to Ghanas national mens and womens teams and regularly hosts football-related workshops and training sessions.Available to clubs, corporate organizations, and churches, the Centre operates Monday through Friday for administrative work and opens on weekends for events and team camps.
