Gavin Hunt may not be unemployed for long, ‘new’ PSL boys make contact!

Former Kaizer Chiefs head coach Gavin Hunt could soon make his return to the PSL after reportedly receiving a call from the ‘new’ PSL boys.

Marumo Gallants FC, previously known as Tshakuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM), are reported to have made a move for Hunt to take over from Dylan Kerr.

According to FarPost, Marumo Gallants, owned by Dr Abram Sello, will sack Kerr; the man who delivered the Nedbank Cup and saved them from relegation.

Kerr is set for crunch talks with the owner and management of Marumo Gallants today (Thursday) where his future will be decided.

The publication further reports that Dan Malesela is another coach Marumo Gallants are keeping an eye on.

The duo – Hunt and Malesela – are currently unemployed after being sacked from their previous jobs.

Hunt was at Chiefs until the 27th league match of the previous season while Malesela was sacked by Chippa United in April 2021.
