Garlic & Lemon Prawns for your weekend seafood party
Sunny South Africa is surrounded about two thirds of coastline which includes amazing seafood. We love seafood during the summer, not just because of availability, but because its light and absolutely delicious. Our classic Garlic & Lemon Prawns recipe is great for those hot summer days when you’ve got friends over and don’t want to stand around cooking. You want to be able to enjoy the company of your family instead of cooking for hours and you can adjust the recipe for more people.
Extra Garlic & Lemon Prawns Suggestions
Because we love cooking outside here in South Africa, prawns are a great way to keep doing what you love. You can use a gas dish cooking surface or camping set-up. You have a large cooking surface and can then cook many prawns in one go and quite quickly.
The prawns will be a beautiful pink before you take them off of the heat and finish them as per the method below. Make your own tartar sauce or garlic mayonnaise for a great meal with your friends and family.
Cooking outdoors has always been the way we do it in South Africa. Try our Garlic & Lemon Prawns with the large group of people coming over this weekend.
