A former Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates star midfielder has found a new club after months of trying to revive his career.

Thamsanqa Sangweni is the said player who has now joined ABC Motsepe League side BCM Stars FC of Eastern Cape.

Sangweni was unveiled by BCM Stars on Tuesday but details of his contract are still unknown at this stage.

EX-SUNDOWNS AND PIRATES STAR SANGWENI JOINS NEW CLUB

BCM Stars took to their social media platforms to announce Sangweni as their new player for the remainder of the season.

Sangweni is an experienced campaigner who shone for the likes of AmaZulu, Sundowns, Chippa United and Ajax Cape Town among other PSL teams.

His stint with Pirates wasn’t much of a success as he often watched his teammates from the stands, especially during Micho Sredojevic’s tenure as head coach.

Recently, Sangweni trained with Marumo Gallants under Dan Malesela whom he worked with at Chippa United.

However, the two parties couldn’t agree terms and Sangweni had to leave the Limpopo province for better opportunities.
