Former Kotoko goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim arrives in Ethiopia to seal move to Ethiopian Coffee FC

Ghanaian goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim has arrived in Addis Ababa to complete his move to Ethiopian Coffee FC.The former Asante Kotoko shot-stopper will undergo mandatory medical on Monday before putting pen to paper on a two-year deal.Ibrahim ended his stay with the Porcupine Warriors at the end of last season and was reported to be on his way to rivals Hearts of Oak.However, the goalkeeper, who was part of Ghana’s squad at the 2022 FIFA World Cup opted to continue his career abroad by joining the Ethiopian club.He is expected to play a huge role for the club in the upcoming season as Ethiopian Coffee FC eye the league title.Ibrahim has enormous experience intentionally, having represented the various Ghana national teams at different competitions, including the U20 Africa Cup of Nations in 2021, with the Black Satellites emerging as champions.In the Ghana Premier League, the 21-year-old made 69 appearances for the Kumasi-based club.
