Former Bibiani Goldstars forward Prince Kwabena Owusu joins Al-Alhadayah in Saudi Arabia
Former Bibiani Goldstars FC forward Prince Kwabena Owusu has joined Al-Alhadayah SC in Saudi Arabia’s third division, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirmOwusu has signed a two-year contract, keeping him at the club until 2026 on a free transfer, after declining to extend his stay with the Miners.Before his departure, Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak showed interest in him, but he chose to move to the Middle East.Owusu was instrumental for Goldstars, especially after their promotion to the Ghana Premier League in 2021.He notably scored 19 goals in Division One League Zone Two, earning the Top Scorer award.Owusu managed to find the back of the net 16 times and delivered seven assists in 86 appearances in the Ghanaian across three campaigns.Over four seasons with the Miners, he played more than 100 games and scored over 35 goals. Owusu is also a former Ghana international, having played for the U23 team.
