‘Fans will show him the door’ – Pitch invader Mashonisa warns Kaizer Chiefs coach
Kaizer Chiefs lifelong supporter Mashonisa says the club is still not listening to the fans despite making changes to their coaching department this season.
Mashonisa, who hails from Mpumalanga, made headlines when he invaded the pitch during the Mamelodi Sundowns/Chiefs match.
“It has always been Kaizer Chiefs. I have never supported any other club. Fani Madida and Doctor Khumalo are the players that attracted me to Kaizer Chiefs,” Mashonisa told Kickoff.
“Kaizer Chiefs is a big brand; Kaizer Chiefs is a country. How can you disappoint such a large population that supports you? The only person in that team who seems serious is the bus driver because he always makes sure they arrive on time for matches,” he said.
Kaizer Chiefs supporter Mashonisa is not happy with the management
Mashonisa also mentioned his dissatisfaction with Amakhosi’s striker Ranga Chivaviro.
“Ranga Chivaviro should be allowed to leave in January. He and Fiacre Ntwari are not Kaizer Chiefs material. I don’t know who is scouting for us these days, I miss Mr. Mehlomakhulu, he used to recommend top talent. I don’t understand why the club brought in a goalkeeper who is on the same level as Bruce Bvuma.”
“As long as Bobby and Kaizer Jr. are in charge, Kaizer Chiefs will not sign the players we want,” Mashonisa added.
“They prefer free agents. If a club wants R5 million for their player, Chiefs pills out of the negotiations and say, ‘No, we’ve got R1 million’. So right now, I’m just looking for the best free agent that will be available in January. That’s what I’m hoping for,” he added.
“The pain and suffering are still with us. I think he will be fired in the not-too-distant future. The fans will show him the door just like they did to Arthur Zwane and others. He is going. First if all, what he is doing to fan favourite Ashley Du Preez is not sitting well with us. Du Preez shouldn’t be played as a lone striker or a target man; that’s not who he is. He needs to be partnered with somebody. Arthur Zwane partnered him with Pule Mmodi, and he scored four goals,” he said.
Should pitch invaders be suspended for months or banned from attending any PSL games?
