South African actor and media personality Mohale Motaung revealed how he felt about his estranged husband Mohale Motaung mentioning him on the fifth season of his reality show – in an exclusive interview with The South African.
Q&A WITH MOHALE MOTAUNG
The South African chatted to Mohale Motaung following the release of his Showmax special – Mohale: On The Record. The special saw The Black Door star address his infamous leaked audio clips by Sunday World, alleged abuse and marriage to media personality Somizi Mhlongo.
TWEEPS HAVE CLAIMED YOUR ESTRANGED HUSBAND HAS USED YOU AND YOUR DIVORCE AS A STORYLINE FOR SEASON FIVE OF HIS REALITY SHOW. WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS?
“I was told that my name comes up quite a lot in the show. I thought that we were trying to do this amicably (the divorce). So, when I saw or heard that my name has been mentioned quite a lot. I was shocked and found it very interesting.”
MOHALE, SOMIZI HAS CALLED YOU A ‘ROBBER’, ‘MONEY-HEIST’ AND MORE ON HIS SHOW. HOW DID YOU FEEL ABOUT THAT?
“I did not understand why he would go and lie and say I want 50% of his estate. When there is truth and lawyers letters between his attorneys and mine that clearly state that I am not (asking for 50%). I will tell my truth. With resorting to calling me names, I really don’t have much to comment on that.”
TWEEPS HAVE POINTED OUT THAT YOUR INTERVIEW AND LEAKED AUDIO CLIPS MATCHED. SO, THEY PRAISED YOU FOR TELLING YOUR TRUTH. HOW DO YOU FEEL?
“I haven’t been on Twitter. I don’t want to see anything today, but I think the most important think for me was to tell my truth. It was done in the most respectful way and I think that me coming out and speaking about what is happening will also help other people and it would also be a lesson.”
