Ex-Chiefs captain sends message to the players
Kaizer Chiefs have recruited Nasreddine Nabi as one of the best coaches in Africa. Attention will now rest on the players.
FORMER KAIZER CHIEFS CAPTAIN SENDS MESSAGE TO AMAKHOSI PLAYERS
According to Fabian McCarthy the players need to show four elements: character, leadership, hunger, and determination.
“We are welcoming the new technical team; they have some time to settle in. The players just have to respond to the coaches’ philosophy and try to understand and be responsible on and off the field,” McCarthy told FARPost.
“They should be leaders. There are players there. It’s a nice group; they just need to show more. [I mean] more character, leadership, hunger, and determination on the field of play.
“Break the leg if you can on the field of play, not physically, but leave everything on the field. If you get 10 minutes, if you get 15 minutes, if you start, give your all,” the former Kaizer Chiefs defender concluded.
