Enock KwatengGhanaian defender Enock Kwateng has opened up on why he swapped FC Nantes for Girondins de Bordeaux.Kwateng turned down a new contract from the Canaries to join Bordeaux on a four-year deal during the 2019 transfer window. The 23-year-old had a superb start to his Bordeaux career until he was excused from the team after the death of his brother. He returned to action after almost two months but was not lucky as he suffered an injury blow.Kwateng made a return to the field for Bordeaux in their 2-0 defeat to Montpellier in the French Ligue 1 last week.It was the first time in eight months, he started in a game for the French side. The right-back again played full throttle in their 1-0 victory at Rennes on Friday.”Youssouf, I knew him in Nantes, I was young and I was his understudy. In my eyes, he is one of the best full-backs in France. I consider him a big brother. It’s more than a friend and it is necessarily delicate. But there is no choice, we make the difference. When I signed, he was in the process of leaving and the conditions were that I was coming because he was leaving . And he had physical problems, it did not happen. I do not consider that I was lied to since it was unpredictable.
