Enhle Mbali and Kwanele Mthethwa score roles in ‘Pound 4 Pound’
Entertainment commentator Jabu Mcdonald reports that actors Kwanele Mthethwa, Zolisa Xaluva, Enhle Mbali have secured roles in Pound 4 Pound.

The Pound 4 Pound actresses, Kwanele Mthethwa and Enhle Mbali will also be joined by Nicole Bessick, Kealeboga Masango and Brandon Auret.
Other actors who have secured roles in the show include Gabisile Tshabalala and Sne Mbatha.
OKMzansi confirms that the talented actresses will portray characters who are fighting in the ring, battling against societal expectations and personal demons.
Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela reveals that actor Mduduzi Mabaso plays a washed-up former boxing champion, Dingaan “Tiger” Nkosi.
Mabaso’s character is hired to train a team of amateur women boxers for a tournament in Nigeria.
While fashion designer and actress, Enhle Mbali leads the cast of the new drama series. The series follows Mbali’s COO character of the South African Boxing Federation.
She finds herself in hot water after prematurely registering an all-women’s team for the Africa Unite Boxing Championship in Lagos, Nigeria.

The upcoming drama series, Pound 4 Pound explores the world of women’s boxing in Africa. It also offers a gripping narrative of resilience and empowerment.
The 13-part series is produced by Kagiso Modupe’s Bakwena Productions. It promises to delve into the intense and exhilarating world of women’s boxing in Africa. The show will also capture the physical and emotional battles that come with fighting for success.
Pound 4 Pound premieres on BET_Africa (DStv, channel 129) on 29 September 2024.
