Engen Knockout Challenge: Potential Soweto/Tshwane Derby final

The Gauteng Engen Knockout Challenge is in its second day, and we have the semi-finalists who will battle it out for the two places in the final.

Interestingly, Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns have all made the semi-finals with SuperSport United the other semi-finalists.

This means there are two Soweto teams – Chiefs and Pirates – as well as two Tshwane teams – Sundowns and SuperSport United – in the Last 4.

Chiefs beat Mpumalanga Black Aces in the quarter-finals, while Sundowns were made to sweat and win on penalties by Panorama FC.

SuperSport United, on the other hand, booked their place in the semi-finals by beating Randburg FC while Pirates edged out SAFA-Transnet School of Excellence.
