DP Ruto hosted at White House by US Assistant Secretary of State for Africa

Deputy President Dr. William Ruto was on Thursday night hosted at White House in Washington DC by Government officials to discuss issues of strategic partnership.

In a closed door meeting also attended by ANC Party Leader Musalia Mudavadi those present emphasized the need to sustain Kenya’s trajectory as a constitutional democracy.

US Assistant Secretary of State for Africa, Molly Phee made the assurance as she hosted Ruto at the U.S State Department in Washington DC saying, “I welcomed the opportunity to meet with Kenyan Deputy President William Ruto this week to discuss the importance of free, fair, and peaceful elections in August. This is a message for all Kenyans.”

DP Ruto has reiterated his commitment for a free and fair election and urged the West to implore on his competitors to take the same plea.

Also in the delegation were Nakuru County Senator Susan Kihika, Kandara MP Alice Wahome and WSR Presidential Campaign Head of International Relations, Ababu Namwamba.
