The move was confirmed by the agent Lebogang ‘Guluva’ Mashishi of B & N International Sports.

“So, the deal happened through me and my partner Kenneth Yamongbe. For months, we have been pushing for ‘Magazi’, as Siyanda is known in football circles, and it’s been very bumpy because any player coming from playing in the Israeli league is barred in many Arab gulf or Islamic states and a few other countries in Asia,” Mashishi told Soccer Laduma‘s leading reporter Masebe Qina.

“So, it has been a challenge to get him a solid deal with the kind of financial benefits that fits his profile. So, our partner in Azerbaijan Mr Kyamil from Baku spearheaded the deal for us as he is our representative in Azerbaijan.

ONE-SEASON DEAL WITH AN OPTION

Mashishi added to confirm that the club will be giving the former Kaizer Chiefs number five a short deal to prove quality.

“I’m very happy that eventually Football Club Turan Tovuz, the President Mr. Nadir Nabiyev, and the coach showed confidence in Magazi to give him this opportunity. It’s a one-season deal with an option,” he added.

“I’m just happy that as B & N International Sports Agency, we were able to facilitate and secure this move for our national team vice-captain,” Mashishi concluded.
