King Faisal started the 2024/25 Ghana Division One League on a high note, defeating Nzema Kotoko in an away fixture to secure maximum points in opener.The match, held at the AAK Ampain Sports Arena saw, the former Premier League outfit defeat Nzema Kotoko FC on Sunday afternoon.King Faisal, led by coach Barnabas Awuni, showcased determination and resilience to secure a deserved 2-1 victory over their opponent to mark a brilliant start to Division One League campaign.Goals from Michael Osei and Daniel Ofosu was enough for the visitors to snatch victory in the thrilling encounter.Though, the host grew stronger in the game especially in the second department but could only manage to reduce the deficit by one after King Faisal had been reduced to 10-men in the 72′ minute.Nonetheless, Coach Awuni Barnabas side maintained their composure and stayed compact for a win.With this result, King Faisal look poised to push for Ghana Premier League promotion.
