DAP-K, Azimio are ODM Party puppets, DP Ruto claims

Deputy President William Ruto has dismissed the recently formed DAP-K party labelling it as a branch and puppet of the ODM party.

Speaking in Tongaren, Bungoma County, where he was accompanied by ANC Party Leader Musalia Mudavadi and his FORD Kenya counterpart Moses Wetangula as well as a host of MPs and aspirants, Ruto continued his onslaught at his rivals as the race to be the 5th President of Kenya gathers momentum.

Speaking in swahili, DP Ruto said, “Kuna watu wachache wanatumiwa kututengenisha, wametengenezwa chama, “Ni chama ya ukora, hiyo ni ODM. Eugene na Eseli wanaweza kutegeneza chama kweli?”

Mudavadi said the DAP-K party associated with CS Eugene Wamalwa is a project just like Azimio la Umoja claiming President Uhuru is supporting his lieutenants so that he can remain in control of the next Government.

Mudavadi accused Wamalwa of dishonesty saying the two were approached by President Uhuru in 2013 to be part of his Government but he declined because he wanted to remain neutral while Wamalwa went on take up the job.

He said Raila is a project of the current regime, urging Kenyans to elect visionary leaders who have the interest of Kenyans at heart.

Wetangula on the other hand claimed those behind the unveiling of DAP-K are the same people who had attempted to steal his FORD Kenya.

DP Ruto said together they have 180 MPs, who have agreed to unite by voting against tribal leaders as well as projects.

He said his number one priority will be to set aside Ksh 1b to empower the youth through creating employment in the housing, agribusiness, manufacturing sectors.
