Team SA started the ninth day of competition with 22 medals at the 2022 Commonwealth Games – seven golds, seven silvers and eight bronzes.
That haul is good enough for seventh place in the current overall medal table.
There is representation in 4 sports in Birmingham on Saturday, 6 August.
They are guaranteed at least two bronze medals in boxing, as there are two boxers in the semi-finals and the losing semi-finalist receives a bronze.
However, Simnikiwe Bongco and Philokuhle Mnguni will be looking for more than bronze, though!
