CMI’s Brig Isoke Replaces Col Nakalema as Anti-corruption Unit Head

President Museveni has appointed Brig. Gen. Henry Isoke as the new head of the State House Anti-Corruption Unit.

This was revealed by Deputy Presidential Press Secretary Faruk Kirunda on Tuesday night.

Kirunda said Isoke, who previously headed the Counter Intelligence docket of UPDF’s Military Intelligence, will replace Col Edith Nakalema who is on a course.

Isoke’s boss Maj Gen Abel Kandiho was relieved of his duties earlier today and sent to South Sudan as a special envoy.

Nakalema, whom the President has been praising for fighting corruption in Uganda, graduated in August 2018 from the Higher Command and Staff Course at the Joint Services Command and Staff College, in Watchfield, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom, where she had been admitted in 2017.
