Chike’s ‘Running to You’ ft Simi becomes most viewed music video in 2021

Singer and songwriter Chike-Ezekpeazu Osebuka, popularly known as Chike, has announced the video for his song “Running to you” with songstress Simi has hit a major milestone on YouTube.
Chike teamed up with Simi to make a remix for “Running”, which is a song off Chike’s album “Boo of the Booless” and originally featured only him.
The video was released on February 12, 2021 in anticipation of Valentine’s Day.
The video, which was directed by Pinkline Films, has hit a staggering 20 million views on YouTube, making it so far the most viewed Nigerian music video of 2021.

Making the announcement on July 20, 2021, via his Instagram page, Chike expressed appreciation to the entire cast & crew that worked effortlessly to bring the song to life and more especially, to his teeming fans and Simi’s for making such feat a reality within a short time span.
The “Roju” singer wrote:
“Woke up to 20 million views on #RunningToYou with @symplysimi
“Thanks to #ChikeClan & #SimiArmy, for making this the most viewed music video of 2021 yet… Congratulations.”
