Cavin Johnson opens up about proposed Orlando Pirates deal!

Former Al Ahly assistant coach Cavin Johnson has opened up about reports of him possibly joining Orlando Pirates.

Johnson has been heavily linked with the Sea Robbers since his departure from Al Ahly almost two months ago.

However, to date, the 63-year-old mentor is still at home and without a club, and he admitted in an interview with SA FM that there has never been a Pirates offer on his table.

“There was a lot of talk about that (joining but nothing of that came ahead,” confirmed Johnson.

Johnson revealed that it’s not only Pirates that he has been linked with but other teams as well and again, he confirmed that no one has come forward with a concrete offer.

“There are a lot of other teams that are talking about me joining them and me going there, but as I am now, nothing has come,” he admitted.

Johnson further said he is still enjoying himself away from football without trying to rush back, and he’s patient in his search for a new job.

“I’m still at home that I’m enjoying myself. It’s only been a month and a half that I’m back home now.

“We will see what happens. Football is a funny game, you’ve got to take one day at a time,” added Johnson.
