Former football icon Mohammed Polo has raised concerns about the Confederation of African Footballs (CAF) stadium ban, saying it is a total embarrassment considering Ghanas pedigree in football.The continental football governing body has cracked the whip on Ghana, imposing a ban on the Baba Yara Stadium, the only venue currently approved for international matches in the country due to its “unsuitable playing field.”However, the Black Stars will not be unable to host the remaining 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying matches at home. The team will now have to play their home games at neutral venues on the continent.Speaking on Bryt FMs Wadwuma Ne Sen mid-morning show, the legendary Ghanaian footballer express his disappointment, describing the situation as a total embarrassment.Its unfortunate that a football nation like Ghana cant boast of a standard stadium to honour our home games.
