CAF License D Coaching Course begins in Prampram to boost Ghanaâs grassroots football
The 10th batch of CAF License D coaching candidates will begin their training at the GFA Technical Centre in Prampram on Thursday, November 14, running through to November 21, 2024.This session forms part of the Ghana Football Associations (GFA) ongoing efforts to enhance coaching standards and build a solid foundation for grassroots football development.The course will be guided by a respected team of CAF and GFA instructors, including Professor Joseph Kwame Mintah, the GFAs Technical Director, and Desmond Sakyi Ofei, Head of Coaching Education.Administrative support will be provided by Andrews Kwesi Eshun. Participants are expected to report to the GFA Technical Centre on Wednesday, November 13, to kick off the week-long program.The CAF License D program is designed to equip coaches with essential technical, tactical, and educational skills, preparing them for broader coaching responsibilities.It includes both theoretical and practical modules that focus on coaching methodology, player development, and match analysis.Through this initiative, the GFA aims to expand the pool of qualified coaches across Ghana, reinforcing its commitment to the core pillars of improving the country’s footballing fundamentals.
