Businesses Urged To Leverage AI
Speakers for the Stanford Seed business network
President of Stanford Seed Transformation Network (SSTN), Carl F. Richardson, has advised business men and women to utilise Artificial Intelligence (AI) in their business dealings.
Speaking at a conference organised by SSTN in Accra themed, “Smart Africa; Leapfrogging the conventional and Transforming Businesses with AI”, he said AI has become an intricate part of our society, solving problems and creating solutions for individuals at record speed.
“AI offers us tools that can vastly accelerate our productivity, refine our decision making and streamline our operations.
For African entrepreneurs, AI holds an unprecedented promise” he said.
Mr. Richardson mentioned that AI is a technology that enables systems to mimic human intelligence, and learning the fastest ways of increasing productivity.
Snwolley, an AI tool was introduced as a revolution in the world of AI. It is an AI tool that opens individuals and businesses to an array of options, from learning how to solve mathematical equations to interviewing prospective workers for an organisation, this tool has been created to solve the most complex problems and respond in a human way.
“It (Snwolley) has been trained on our system. It has been trained on the Ghanaian context. It understands our sentiments,” noted the CEO of Npontu Technologies, Dr. Stephane Nwolley.
Business representatives present were given lessons on how to use, AI tools and how best to get the maximum use out of AI tools such as Chat GPT and Snwolley to help get a deeper understanding on how to execute their business requirements.
“All in all, it has been a wonderful experience, I’ve really come to appreciate AI after this conference. I no longer see AI as the thing that will be replacing human but I see it instead as an alibi, something that can help me move my business to the next level and grow my business,” stated an attendee.
