Bring it on! Springboks don shorts in the snow! [video]

The Springboks squad will not be letting the snow in Wales stop them from putting on a powerful performance against The Dragons this weekend in their final test match of the year.

The countries will play each other on Saturday, 23 November at Principality Stadium, Cardiff.

SPRINGBOKS PICTURED ARRIVING IN SNOW

On their Instagram account, a clip was posted of the Springbok players arriving in Cardiff, Wales. The boys in green and gold – wearing shorts and T-shirts, no less – were met with a frosty reception. Nevertheless, the players took a brief moment to “shake it off” and kept it moving.

The post was captioned: “Snowing outside? No probs for the Springboks as they hit the gym earlier today”.

In the comment section, rugby fans were amused to see the players unfazed by the snow.

@liezlvisser: “Yet they’re still wearing shorts. You can take the Saffa out of SA, but you can’t take the SA out of the Saffa”.

@mphosefatsa: “Only a South African will wear shorts in the bitter cold. I’m surprised they aren’t wearing plakkies as well”.

@fasle_faz_kennedy: “Kwagga just walking around with a smile on his face… Stoutgat!”

@ngoniecra: “No weather formed against the Springboks shall prosper.”

WHERE WILL THEY PLAY?

The Springboks will play Wales at the Principality Stadium, Cardiff.

Thankfully, coach Rassie Erasmus has revealed that the venue is fully covered, meaning the players will be unaffected by external weather conditions.

According to the site, the stadium has the largest retractable roof in Europe, taking a full 20 minutes to open.
