Blitzboks bounce back from shock loss to sink Spain at Toulouse Sevens

The Blitzboks bounced back from an embarrassing defeat to Ireland to beat Spain in their second Pool D encounter at the HSBC France Sevens at Stade Ernest-Wallon in Toulouse on Friday.

Neil Powell’s team clinched a 27-7 win against the Spanish after leading 10-7 at half-time.

The win came hours after an historic first-ever 21-12 loss against Ireland in World Rugby Sevens Series history.

The Blitzboks will face Samoa in their final pool match on Saturday, 21 May at 12:22 (SA time).
