Blessing Asuman named Man of the Match in Accra Lions’ victory over Nsoatreman FC
Accra Lions winger Blessing Asuman Dankwa was named Man of the Match after starring in his side’s win over Nsoatreman FC on matchday 4 of the Ghana Premier League.The talented winger scored the decisive third goal in the 3-1 victory at the University of Ghana Stadium in Legon on Saturday.Asuman Dankwa could have broken the game’s deadlock after just five minutes following a swift play from the right.The teen sensation combined well on the right with defender Remember Adomako Boateng, causing troubles on the left side of Nsoatreman’s defence.Meanwhile, following a positive start by the hosts, Salman Faris Tahiru and Ezekiel Alladoh scored in quick succession to give Accra Lions after 2-0 lead in the first half.However, the visitors responded three minutes after the break through forward Abdul Rahman Mohammed before Asuman Dankwa sealed victory for the host halfway in the second half.The winger dedicated his goal to his late friend while celebrating as he lifted his shirt with the inscription, ‘RIP Ferran.’Ferran was a Ghana youth international who passed away after a motor accident.
