Black Princesses get refereeing education boost ahead of World Cup

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has stepped up preparations for the Black Princesses’ upcoming FIFA U20 Womens World Cup campaign with a one-day refereeing lecture.Held at the team’s camp in Cape Coast, the session was conducted by retired FIFA Referee and Referees Technical Instructor, Thomas Nunoo.The aim was to equip the players with a thorough understanding of the game’s rules and recent amendments.The Black Princesses are set to compete in their seventh consecutive FIFA U20 Womens World Cup, which will be held in Colombia from August 31 to September 22, 2024.Ghana have been drawn in Group E alongside Austria, Japan, and New Zealand.The team led by coach Yussif Basigi has been camping in Cape Coast since early July.
