Basketball: All Set for 11th UCU Invitational Tournament
25 teams (16 men and 9 women) have confirmed participation in the 11th edition of the UCU Invitation tournament scheduled to run from 5th to 6th March at the Mukono based campus.
The two-day tournament is a curtain-raising event which fine tunes players for the new Basketball league season which tees off later this month.
Besides KCCA Leopards which has opted out, all the top sides in the National Basketball League across the top and second divisions will feature in the 2022 edition.
Powerhouse UCU Canons overcame Betway Power 53-40 while JKL Lady Dolphins beat UCU Lady Canons to win the Men and Ladies titles last year.
