Basake Holy Stars coach Gazale prepares for tough Ghana Premier League debut
Basake Holy Stars head coach Abdulai Gazale is realistic about the challenges ahead as his team prepares for their Ghana Premier League debut against Hearts of Oak on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.Starting their Premier League journey against one of the most successful clubs in the league’s history is a tough challenge for the new entrants.Gazale, recently appointed head coach and formerly an assistant at Asante Kotoko, is focused on integrating his new squad.”So far, so good because we have new players, like you said. I’m also a new guy, but we are trying to put ourselves together to get a team that can represent the team very well,” Gazale said.He added, “I think so far we have those who can do the work. We just need to push them so much so that we can get ourselves ready for it.”Acknowledging the difficulty of their first Premier League season, Gazale noted, “This is their first time playing in the Premier League, and I know it will not be easy, but we will make our way through.”
