Asante Kotoko tasks coach Prosper Narteh to grind results in next 3 Ghana Premier League games
The Interim Management Committee (IMC) of Asante Kotoko has reportedly tasked head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum to grind results in the next three Ghana Premier League games.At the weekend, the Porcupine Warriors defeated Aduana Stars at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park to return to winning ways after going five games without a game.Despite the win, the team’s struggles this season have placed the spotlight firmly on the head coach, who remains under scrutiny.Ogum was recently relieved of his position as a member of the clubs Interim Management Committee, allowing him to fully focus on his coaching role.The decision, sanctioned by His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the Manhyia Palace, comes as Kotoko navigates a challenging season.However, Ogum faces a daunting task at Kotoko having been tasked by the Committee to secure seven points from a possible nine in the next three Ghana Premier League games.Asante Kotoko will take on archrivals Hearts of Oak in matchday 13 of the Premier League two weeks time before taking on Dreams FC and Bibiani Goldstars respectively.The Porcupine Warriors are currently 7th on the Ghana Premier League standings, accumulating 18 points after 12 matches.
