Asante Kotoko set to appoint new Technical Director amid restructuring process at club

Ghana Premier League outfit Asante Kotoko are on the brink of appointing a new Technical Director for the club, Kessben FM has reported.The Porcupine Warriors recently announced changes to its Interim Management Committee (IMC), with head coach Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum stepping down from his role as a member.The decision, directed by the life patron of the club, His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the Manhyia Palace, aims to allow Dr Ogum to focus solely on his responsibilities as head coach, ensuring the team achieves success on the pitch and advances its sporting objectives.As part of the restructuring process, the leadership of the club (IMC) has decided to hire a technical director to support coach Prosper Narteh Ogum.The Porcupine Warriors came under intense pressure after going five games without a single victory in the Ghana Premier League.At the weekend, the Ghanaian giants ended their winless streak in the top-flight after defeating Aduana Stars at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.The Porcupine Warriors are currently 7th on the Ghana Premier League standings, accumulating 18 points after 12 matches.
