Arsenal star Thomas Partey donates branded nose masks in fight against COVID-19

Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has made donations of branded nose masks in his efforts to help fight the deadly coronavirus in his native Ghana.The midfielder, who missed the Black Stars AFCON qualifiers against Sudan during the international break, provided branded nose masks which were distributed in the cities of Ashaiman and Tema, and his hometown of Odumase Krobo.His charitable works has increased during these difficult times, as this follows an earlier distribution he made. He made donations of mask to young footballers, taxi drivers and to the homeless.The former Atletico Madrid player, who is a co-owner of Spanish lower tier side Alcobendas Sports also made sure wages of players are paid despite the economic crisis during the heightened period of COVID-19.Ghana has recorded over 50000 cases of COVID-19 with about 300 deaths.Meanwhile, Thomas Partey is likely tomake an injury return in Arsenal’s trip to Elland Road to play Leeds United at the weekend.
